WPA015 comes from near Dortmund in Germany, produced by BUDEL whose devotion for bubbling acid sounds goes back to the mid 90s. Born and raised in the 80s, the first musical experiment was to record tracks from the radio on a tape deck at the age of 7/8. In 2001 had the first contact with hardware synthesizers, but couldn't afford them, striking up with Propellerheads Rebirth 338 to make his own Acid tracks instead, adding some hardware around 2008, but Acid was still produced in the virtual box. Since then, new drum machines and synthesizers were incremented. This debut EP unfolds a progressive voyage of intensity, increasing from track to track with a raw wicked sound of a XOX Box and some TR-8 rhythm influxes making a transitory use of voices taken from a free Vintage Movie Vocals Pack. This release is something unusual for the label scope so far. The exception goes to 'Low Back Pain', where our journey truly begins, packed with an amazing Housie BreakBeat alike and a powerful keyboard hook that you will get delighted with, since the first listen.
