WPA027 is honored to have JOHN ROWE, a respected UK recording artist, DJ, Dance music producer and owner of the Hypnohouse Label Group, homes four in-house labels and over 40 established artists. Born and based in NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE where he is an integral part of the underground rave scene. As a musician he has played in various bands, taking up a music technology course in the late 90’s which lead to a string of techno releases throughout the mid 00’s regularly playing live alongside techno stalwarts. With over 15 years professional DJ experience played for various promoters and party crews regularly perform at raves, festivals, clubs and parties across the UK & Europe. His original tracks have gained support/plays from some of the techno scenes top end players; Ellen Allien, Patrick DSP, Marco Bailey, Josh Wink, Marcello Perri,Christian Varela, etc… had numerous releases out recently on classic techno labels such as Stay up Forever projects, Interstate One, VCF, Superconductor, Bonzai, Flatlife and Filth Infatuated amongst many more. He has had the privilege of working alongside and remixing acid legends DJ Choci, Geezer, Chris Liberator, Jack Wax and Punk Floyd. His material can be heard anywhere from the underground squat parties of the UK to the biggest clubs on the planet (Cocoon/Amnesia/Circo Loco/DC 10/ Ibiza/ Boiler Room /Berlin) Most of which have landed him at the top map of the techno charts. We bring Mr. Rowe´s Acid hi-light refined sonic design, using very melodic and complex textures with 303, pads, leads, vocal chants and classic boxes prior to 808 & 909 inside two original tracks. RED WEELLER brings the fresh Club Remix and MORIZIO´s magic seals the package. Dont be shy and give John Rowe´s EP a big strip lap top dance!
